Successful French school Jules Verne inaugurate his new college Jules Verne in the center of Riga.

PRESS RELEASE BY FRENCH EMBASSY IN LATVIA

Since its creation in 2007, with the support of Embassy of France and Republic of Latvia, Jules Verne French school actively contributes to Riga’s international influence and vitality. Jules Verne French school proposes for latvian children and foreign families living in Riga, the opportunity to benefit from intercultural education, recognized as one of the best in the world, offering French curriculum and French pedagogical specificities.

– With the Jules Verne school, Latvia joins the most important and famous international network of French schools, colleges and lycees, in the world. A network established in 137 countries with 495 schools.

– French – Latvian bilingual Cursus, with extra couses in Russian and English, giving students the best assets for an international career and success in the future.

– French school benefits from a double certification issued from Lavian and french educational ministries and an education provided by experts recruited in France. They focuse on both rigorous knowledge acquisition and the child’s personal development.

Given the success of Jules Verne school and its dynamic growth (234 students on September, 1st, 2016), the school had to moved in a new building in the city center to accommodate college students (students issued from CM1, CM2 classes and 6th / 5th – 4th grade – equivalent to 6th grade in Latvia -) and future students. This new location will provide to pupils, college students and teachers, exceptional conditions to study and recreational area of exceptional quality.
